Executive Team
Alpha Federal is led by operators and program builders who have worked in the environments its clients operate in. The company is deliberately small; every person carries real responsibility for the programs they support.
Danny Crist has built his career around one consistent standard: know the work deeply, stay close to it, and never let the pitch get ahead of the capability. As CEO of Alpha Federal, he leads strategy and client relationships across global defense markets. He is direct, operationally grounded, and most effective in the environments where those qualities are not optional.
Ray Plasterer is a decorated Special Operations veteran with more than two decades of experience spanning military operations and senior executive leadership. Prior to Alpha Federal, he served as VP of Operations at a multi-billion dollar medical diagnostics organization, where he managed large-scale operational infrastructure and nationwide service delivery. As President, Ray directs Alpha Federal's day-to-day operations, holding the execution standard the company's clients depend on.
Strategic Advisors
Alpha Federal draws on strategic advisors with current standing in a region or deep experience with a particular system — former senior officers, ministry-side officials, sensor and airworthiness specialists. They are engaged against real programs rather than retained for a photograph, and they are brought into a customer engagement when the program actually needs what they know.
We do not publish the roster. Several hold positions where a public association with a defense contractor would be unhelpful to them and to us. If an advisor is relevant to your program, we will make the introduction during the engagement with their agreement.
