Scope
Our programs involve defense articles, defense services and dual-use technologies subject to export licensing requirements. Alpha Federal does not transfer controlled technology, data or hardware without proper authorization.
What this means for partner-nation programs
Export control is a program design input, not an afterthought. Sensor and system selection, training scope, the nationality of personnel who may receive technical data, and the licensing timeline all sit inside the program schedule from the outset.
Direct Commercial Sale is not a route around export control. It is a different contracting pathway that still requires the appropriate license or agreement.
