Privacy Policy.

Alpha Federal collects only the information you volunteer through the briefing and application forms, uses it solely to respond to your inquiry, and does not sell or share it. Analytics run without cookies unless you accept them. This page states exactly what runs on the site and what it collects.

Last updated:

Alpha Federal LLC (“Alpha Federal”, “we”, “us” or “our”) is committed to protecting the privacy of individuals who interact with our website and services.

Information we collect

We collect information you voluntarily provide: name, email address, organization and the nature of your inquiry when you submit a briefing request, and additionally your resume and the role you are applying for when you submit a careers application.

We do not require an account, we do not ask for information we have no use for, and there is no part of this site that is gated behind a form.

How we use it, and on what basis

Information collected is used solely to respond to your inquiry, evaluate potential program fit, and communicate about Alpha Federal services. We do not sell, share or distribute personal information to third parties.

Where UK or EU data protection law applies, our lawful basis is:

  • Briefing requests — taking steps at your request prior to entering into a contract, and our legitimate interest in responding to a business inquiry you initiated.
  • Careers applications — taking steps at your request prior to entering into a contract of employment or engagement.
  • Server logs and cookieless analytics — our legitimate interest in operating the site securely and understanding, in aggregate, which pages are useful.

How long we keep it

Briefing requests are retained for 24 months from last contact, after which they are deleted. Careers applications are retained for 12 months from submission unless you ask us to keep them on file for longer. Server logs are retained by our hosting provider on their standard cycle and are not used to build a profile of any individual.

Where it is stored

Both forms on this site are processed by Netlify Forms. Submissions are stored on Netlify infrastructure in the United States and are accessible only to Alpha Federal personnel. Each form includes a hidden honeypot field used solely to reject automated spam submissions.

If you are in the United Kingdom or the European Economic Area, submitting a form transfers your information to the United States. We rely on the UK Extension to the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and on the standard contractual clauses in our processor agreements for that transfer.

What runs on this site

This site is static. It runs no client-side JavaScript beyond a small motion script, which stores nothing.

Google Analytics 4 loads on every page, with IP anonymization enabled. It is configured with Google Consent Mode v2 set to denied by default, which means that until you accept:

  • no analytics cookies are set;
  • nothing is written to or read from your device;
  • measurement is limited to cookieless pings carrying aggregate page, referrer and approximate country information with no identifier attached.

If you accept through the banner, Google Analytics sets cookies in the _ga family so we can recognize a returning visit. You can change your mind by clearing this site’s data in your browser, which removes the stored preference and the banner will ask again.

One item is stored regardless of your choice: a single browser storage key recording whether you accepted or declined. It contains no identifier and exists only so we do not ask you the same question on every page. Storing your answer is what makes the choice meaningful, so it is treated as strictly necessary.

We do not run advertising, remarketing, cross-site tracking, session recording, heatmaps or A/B testing, and there is no LinkedIn, Meta or other advertising pixel on this site. Our Content Security Policy permits scripts only from this domain and Google Analytics — nothing else can load.

Your rights

If UK or EU data protection law applies to you, you have the right to request access to the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or erased, to object to or restrict our processing of it, and to receive it in a portable form. You also have the right to complain to a supervisory authority — in the United Kingdom, the Information Commissioner’s Office.

To exercise any of these, email info@alphafederal.com. We will respond within one month. We will not ask you to justify the request.

Data security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure or destruction.
