Terminal Administrator.
Keep the terminal's books and front office. You enter government fuel inventory into Department of Defense accountability systems every day, run the records and reporting, and control the gates and visitors during duty hours.
First 90 days
By day 30 you are entering daily inventory into the fuels accounting system and the entries are clean. By day 60 the monthly reconciliation closes on your work without the Superintendent rebuilding it, and the training, quality and maintenance records are filed to a system you designed rather than inherited. By day 90 you are tracking shipment orders and truck schedules far enough ahead that the operations team stops discovering them on the day.

Offers for this role are contingent on the Defense Logistics Agency awarding the contract to Alpha Federal. We make contingent offers early so the right people are cleared for base access and ready on day one rather than starting the process after award. Accountability system training runs after award and takes about three weeks.
The fuel is the government’s, not ours. This position is where that fact is either true on paper every day or quietly stops being true.
