Environmental Technician.
Own environmental compliance for a Department of Defense fuel terminal: the plans, the permits, the inspections, stormwater sampling, hazardous materials and waste, and the spill drills that prove the plans work.
First 90 days
By day 30 every environmental plan on the site is current, in your name, and matches what the terminal actually does rather than what it did when the plan was written. By day 60 the inspection schedule, the chemical inventory, the waste accumulation program and the sampling calendar are all running and documented. By day 90 you have run a spill drill that found a real gap, and when a regulator arrives unannounced the answer to every question they ask is already on a shelf.

- Hazardous waste accumulation, manifesting and chemical inventory management, plus stormwater sampling and sample transport

Offers for this role are contingent on the Defense Logistics Agency awarding the contract to Alpha Federal. We make contingent offers early so the right people are cleared for base access and ready on day one rather than starting the process after award.
Ten years of fuels-specific compliance is the rarest profile on this site, and we are not treating the requirement as a target to be argued down. Florida storage tank experience is worth a conversation on its own.
